“Christopher Gamper, an immensely versatile, dynamic, and talented drummer who goes way beyond genres and stylistic boundaries.”

Audio Key Reviews Raine Jordan Joan of Audio

Drummer Chris Gamper displays a wonderful passion for multiple styles of music on “Epidermis is Showing”. It’s a rare drummer who can convincingly navigate so many disparate styles with such care and attention to detail. From the grooving pocket funk of “Doin’” to the delicately tasteful brush work on “Evansville” to the driving rock of “City Streets” Chris displays a rare kind of understanding of what it takes to be a musical drummer in varyingly different situations. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this record and getting to know Chris’ playing more intimately. After you start to listen, I think you will as well.
